A World of Whimsy in Venice – The Mosaic Tile House

A few days ago I popped by for a visit to the “Mosaic House”, the home of Cheri Pann and Gonzalo Duran, located in Venice, California. The couple purchased the house in 1994 back when it looked like any old house and they have since covered most of it in colorful tiles and glass, turning it into a live-in museum of sorts. It is definitely a most unusual and whimsical home! Cheri and Gonzalo are both artists, they paint, do pottery, and Gonzalo comes up with  all sorts of crafty contraptions.
